Detriot Red Beet microgreens have green leaves with bright red stems. A more advanced microgreen but worth it because it has great flavor!

Note: The current photos are Bull’s Blood Beets. I will post different pictures soon.

These seeds are certified organic and non-GMO.

The red stems and tender earth flavor make these microgreens excellent in a salad because of the contrast in color and garden flavor.

The earthy mild beet flavor is also tasty in egg dishes or soups.

Some growers soak beet microgreen seed for 24-hours before sowing it. However, my test shows soaking does not improve germination, growth rate, or yield. Read soaking beet microgreen seeds by following this link.

Covering the seeds with a thin layer of soil may help germination and seed husk removal.

A Bull’s Blood Beet seed often sprouts more than one seedling.

The average days to harvest are between 13 and 15 days, give or take a couple. Harvest when first true leaves open and develop at the height of 2- to 3-inches.
