The Home Microgreens Watering Tray is the match for the Home Microgreens Planting Tray!
The watering tray is used to bottom water microgreens grown in the HM planting tray.
Bottom-watering microgreens keep the leaves dry and reduce fungus and disease issues. Also, the bottom watering method stops soil from splashing up on the microgreens reducing the possibility of washing the microgreens before consumption.
We highly recommend bottom-watering microgreens.
Add 1/4-inch of non-chlorinated water into the watering tray and gently lower the planting tray into the watering tray. The water level will rise in the watering tray and be absorbed by the soil in the planting tray.
Always check to make sure you added enough water for the microgreens. If water remains in the watering tray an hour or so after watering, dump the remaining water. The Home Microgreen tray system will allow the extra water to drain.
