These are certified organic fenugreek seeds that can be used to grow microgreens, sprouts, or even as an herb in your garden. All parts of the plant can be used, fresh, dried, or ground. Fenugreek is common in Indian dishes and also goes by the name Methi.
Whatever you want to call it, these seeds quickly grow into harvestable dark green juicy microgreens and have a complex flavor profile, especially if the spent seed hull is eaten with the microgreens.
Before planting, you will need to soak the organic Fenugreek seed for a few hours.
I planted my first batches using the weighted blackout method, but I have heard they can be grown in many ways.
Fenugreek microgreens are ready to harvest in as few as 8 to 10 days. They seem to prefer a warmer growing area in the mid-70s, although I have grown them in a room that averaged mid-60s, and they grew well, only slower.
It is easy to grow and requires little light, making it an excellent microgreen for beginners.
