Brussel Sprout microgreens are one of my recommended beginner microgreens. They are easy to grow and have a mild flavor. If your growing area is cool, brussel sprout microgreen seed can germinate well at lower temperatures.
They’re crisp and juicy, making them a great addition to any microgreen salad or sandwich topping.
The leaves are dark green, and the stems are primarily pure white with some more of a rose color. Brussel sprout microgreens are strong and hold up well as they grow.
Like most brassicas, Brussels Sprout microgreens are a favorite because of their health benefits; they’re an excellent source of sulforaphane and many other vitamins and minerals.
They are an excellent choice as a base for any microgreens salad or just added to salads. Because of their crisp texture, they’re also a tremendous raw topping for sandwiches or burgers.
The Brussel Sprout microgreen seed we sell is of the variety Long Island Improved if you’d like to grow them in the garden.
