Time to Measure Your Trays
Suppose you are using something other than standard tray sizes, like the Home Microgreens Tray, 1010 trays, or 1020 trays.
In that case, you can measure them and enter their dimension into the Seed Density Log (the files can be download at the bottom of Lesson One).
The Seed Density Log has several extra columns to enter your specific tray dimensions and record the recommended weight or volume of seed.
I’m sure you know how to calculate the area of a square or rectangular tray. But if you don’t want to get that calculator out record the length and width and in a couple of lessons I have built it in to the seed density calculator.
In the following lessons, I will present and show you how to use the seed density calculators.
